Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the SuJian application (“SuJian”, “the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information. SuJian is a Markdown reader. We designed the App so that it does not collect personal information from users.
1. Information We Collect
SuJian does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information. In particular, the App does not collect:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact details
- Account credentials or user profiles (the App does not require an account)
- Location data
- Advertising identifiers, analytics events, or tracking data
- Device identifiers for advertising or profiling
- Payments or purchase history through the App itself (beyond what Apple may process if you use App Store features)
Documents you open or read with SuJian remain under your control on your device (and any storage locations you choose). We do not upload your Markdown files or reading content to our servers, because SuJian does not operate a backend that receives user content for this purpose.
2. How Information Is Used
Because SuJian does not collect personal information, we do not use personal information for advertising, analytics, profiling, or third-party marketing.
3. Third-Party Services
SuJian does not integrate advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or social tracking SDKs that would collect personal information on our behalf. If you access content stored with a third party (for example, files you keep in iCloud or another service you configure), that third party’s own privacy policy applies to their service.
App distribution, payments, and related platform services are provided by Apple. Apple’s privacy practices are described in Apple’s privacy policy.
4. Data Retention
Since we do not collect personal information, we do not retain personal information on our servers. Any local files or settings stored on your device can be deleted by you by removing the files or uninstalling the App.
5. Children’s Privacy
SuJian does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not collect personal information, we do not solicit data from children.
6. Security
We aim to minimize privacy risk by not collecting personal data in the first place. You remain responsible for protecting access to your device and to any documents you store locally or in services you choose.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
